Anthony C. Sears, Esq. understands how the life of those injured changes in an instant and is committed to achieving the best results.

He has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients and has litigated numerous news-worthy cases, representing victims in the Empire State Building shooting, the PATH-Hoboken train derailment, and Medford nursing home patient death cases. He has mediated and arbitrated commercial automobile cases successfully, resulting in million-dollar settlements and awards for his clients. Overall, his practice consists of automobile, construction accident, negligent security, nursing home negligence, premises, wrongful death, and other civil litigation lawsuits. Mr. Sears was named to Superlawyers Rising Stars in the law for 2019, 2020, and 2021 Top Attorneys of the Year in 2022.

In addition to his practice of law, Anthony is an active member of the LGBT Bar Association of New York. He mentors pre-law students with aspirations to attend law school and mentors LGBTQ law students who are actively enrolled in law school in New York. He is a former published author in the LGBT Bar Association publication – LGBT Law Notes and was published on About.com. Additionally, he obtained First Place Individual Mediator at the International Northeastern International Academy of Dispute Resolution Tournament. Mr. Sears earned his Bachelors of Science in Legal Studies with a minor in Sociology from St. John’s University and graduated magna cum laude as he was on the Dean’s List every semester.
